Write a Book!Hi
Issue # 020, 11th February, 2011 In This Issue:
Create a High-Traffic Website with SiteSell!
My SBI story is an interesting one. SBI stands for Site Build It! the company that powers writing-lovers.com. When I got the site, I knew nothing at all about websites and the internet, but SBI's magical formular has converted my newbie website into one which receives over a thousand visitors daily! Anyone can create a website. But anyone powered by SBI WILL create a high-traffic, high-income website. It's an inevitable reality. Get yourself an SBI website now: Let Sitesell work for YOU Write a Book! Part 1I am quite a dreamer, and one of the greatest dreams I have ever had is to write a book—a book about my life! Well laugh if you can, but I can shamelessly declare that that dream has come true! I have written a book—a book about my wretched experiences, and it is one of my favourite (and right now as we speak, or as you read, I am working on several others). Don’t get discouraged if people call you a dreamer, because dreamers can certainly achieve! My own wretched experiences can prove that. So tell me your dreams… You want to write a book, huh? Then what after you have written your book? You definitely want a good editor to take a long look at it and make the needed corrections. Next, you will perhaps look for a publisher to publish that book of yours. Then probably you would have to pay them a handsome amount to get it appearing in book stores. Sounds all too daunting, huh, like it can never been done? Then this might interest you: The online world, on which you are right now, has made it possible for millions of people with little or no resources to write a book, self-publish it, sell millions of copies, and make millions of dollars without so much as a drop of sweat, a smudge of ink or the nastiness of a paper cut! Ah, you got it, the e-book! Yes, indeed, it saves enthusiastic—and near fanatic—writers the trouble of chasing publishers around and dancing to their tunes. Instead, they can simply put up their book on a website and… Blaam!!! Instant market—the millions of people who surf the net everyday ,and mind you, this number is getting larger… So think of that possibility…you can write a book, and not just a book, but an e-book! Remember I said I wrote a book? Actually, that is an understatement. I have written a number of books. I wrote my first when I was just fourteen. Of course, it was just for fun and I never took the matter of publishing seriously, so some of my manuscripts either got stolen or went missing. And I reckon they must be good, for someone to steal them! (Well, what do you call borrowing without returning?) What am I getting at? If I can write a book, then you can too! In fact, anyone can write a book! It is actually easier than it sounds. I have learnt a few things about book-writing in all these years that I have been writing and I am simply bursting to share what goodies I have picked up along the way with you! So sit tight and you will certainly be all your way to writing your first book. In fact, you can start today, right now. Here is my first piece of advice: Pick up that pen of yours and start writing. Sometimes the only thing that stands between us and our goals is fear and doubt. So lay off that doubt. You can do it! And don’t forget to have fun! I have always believed that if you want to achieve the best in whatever you do, you must learn to enjoy it, and if it is downright boring, make it fun, otherwise you will go no where. I am serious… So are you ready to write a book? Good, get ready for an exciting journey! Oooooh! I am really excited! Oh, probably you want to read my books? I have put up some of them for free at my website. Follow this link: In subsequent issues of Writer Digest, I am going to let you in on some secrets on how to write a good book painlessly and enjoyably. And there will be no more secrets because you will have known all of them! Stay Tuned for Part 2 of Write a Book! So you got your pen? Good!
